Week 13 of 14 – Body Transformation For Physique Show

Sep 7 2014

The last time I was counting days like this was when I was a child waiting for Christmas.
This time next week I would have stepped in the INBA Mens Physique Show. However we still have 6 days before then and I plan on making sure everything is in place.
Week 13 has been no different than the others however I had to manage my time even more effectively due to starting a new job. I made sure though tho that I relaxed at the weekend with my pre workout coffee by the beach.

Always Make Time For A Coffee

This week I was setting my alarm for 5.30am to get a workout in before work. By Thursday I was physically and mentally drained. I have never looked forward to getting into bed.
My diet was also changed this week. Fluid went up to 6 litres and food items were changed to get me ready for Peak Week.
My diet has consisted of the following this week:

Meal 1 – 200g Salmon, with 100g Broccoli and 30g Olives
Meal 2 – 9 Egg Whites, with 100g Broccoli with 2 handfuls of spinach.
Meal 3 – 60g Whey Protein, with 2 handfuls of spinach and 10 rice cakes.
Meal 4 – 173g Chicken, with 200g Basmati Rice and 2 handfuls of spinach
Post Workout – 10g Glutamine, 10g Creatine and 4 Leucine Tablets.

Since going on this diet over the last few days, I really felt my body getting considerably leaner/tighter, hopefully it is ready for the peak week carbs to help fill me out nicely for show day.
Starting a new job has its difficulties when an individual is not dieting. To say temptation and awkward questions didn’t happen would be a lie. I just had to be open and hope individuals are open-minded to the personal journey I am going through.
It will be interesting to see what they think when in 1 week I will be constantly eating and aim to put back on as much weight as possible.

My aim this week, is to just keep taking it day by day and keep my mind occupied away from food.
